Western Districts Association of Camera Clubs hosts an interclub competition each year where both club and individual - Digital and Print entries - are judged and showcased.

The Western Districts area consists of member clubs from Orange, Bathurst, Dubbo, Mudgee, Parkes, Young, Goulburn, Grenfell, Harden, Murramburra, Hay and Narromine.

 

This year's competition will be hosted in Orange and we invite all photographers to attend.

The Orange Camera Club is a growing group of people covering a diverse range of ages, backgrounds and professions, meeting to share our passion of photography and learn from each other.

Our aim is to develop members’ photographic skills in an environment of fun, mutual respect and support.

 

​Orange Camera Club is affiliated with the Federation of Camera Clubs along with other NSW photographic clubs involving over a thousand photographers

Membership is open to anyone who wants to share and enjoy their interest in photography. Meetings are usually  the first and third Tuesday of each month at 7:30pm, but please check our program for dates.
 

Annual membership is currently $40 for an  individual, $50 for a family, $30 for a junior and runs from July to June.

Orange Camera Club since 1957

Orange Camera Club has been bringing photographers together since 1957. Since this time the club and camera technology has changed  but maintains its objective of providing a space for members to broaden and enhance their photographic skills. 

Members need to have an interest in photography and have access to a camera, the type does not matter. It could be a smartphone, point and shoot, DSLR, mirrorless or anything in between

 

Orange Camera Club meets twice per month for workshops and speakers
 

Venue: Nguluway Ngurang,

Rear 77 Kite St , Orange NSW Australia.
Entry via Woolworths Carpark

Time: 7:00 for 7:30 pm 1st & 3rd Tuesdays of each month. 

Competition entries close 7:20 pm

Guest Speakers & Monthly Competitions
Intended to inspire keen photographers and encourage beginners. Guest speakers share their knowledge of camera technology and photographic techniques .  Orange Camera Club meets twice per month for workshops and speakers

 

Critiques

Members are encouraged to bring in images for critique, where members give an insight into their photography and seek feedback

Interclub Outings

We maintain close links with the Western Districts Association of Camera Clubs and the Bathurst Camera Club

Tutorials and Workshops

The 2nd meeting of the month may consist of  practical based tutorials and it is recommended you bring your camera. The tutorial may be followed by a workshop outside of the normal meeting dates where members can practice their new skills
